Unlike instruction, exemplary modeling, and trial, this mechanism develops the learner’s ability to make moral judgments not through a model to imitate but through difference — a clear opposition between two poles. The study aims to identify stable types of antithesis in the Gorogly cycle and to relate them to theoretical approaches in Uzbek folklore studies (J. Eshonqul, M. Qodirov, K. Imomov, Sh. Turdimov) and pedagogy (O. Hasanboyeva). The analysis identifies three typological types: the universal (cosmological) antithesis of good and evil, personal antithesis represented through a specific antagonist (Avazxon–Ahmad Sardor, Gorogly/Avazxon–Chamidxon), and the antithesis of abstract concepts (loyalty–disloyalty). It is concluded that these three types form a hierarchical structure progressing from the cosmological to the personal and from the personal to the abstract-generalized level, enabling listeners of different ages and levels of perception to comprehend and internalize antithesis.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2335"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2335_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
