The methodological potential of tasksaimed at identifying information in literary texts, understanding semantic relationships, revealing implicit meanings, recognizing the author’s position, expressing attitudestoward characters’ actions, and supporting personal opinions with textual evidence isanalyzed. The article also substantiates the potential of PISA-type questions used atreproductive, interpretative, and evaluative stages to develop students’ functional readingliteracy, critical thinking, and literary-aesthetic thinking. The proposed approachcontributes to developing students not as passive recipients of ready-made conclusionsbut as active readers capable of independently interpreting and evaluating literary works.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-08-14</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2355"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2355_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
