      "abstract": "This article develops the pedagogical and methodological foundations for teachingmusic-theoretical knowledge in maqom education through mathematical modeling. Thestudy analyzes the didactic potential of representing note and rest durations, rhythmicrelationships, meter, and time signatures through fractions, ratios, and simple equations.A mathematical model is interpreted not as a substitute for the content of a musicalconcept but as a didactic tool that helps students visualize, calculate, hear, and connecttheoretical concepts with practical performance. The study considers the characteristicsof Grade 7\u201311 students\u2019 preparation in maqom education, including 62 studentsspecializing in \u201cTraditional Singing\u201d and 61 students specializing in \u201cTraditionalPerformance,\u201d for a total of 123 students. A methodological model based on the sequence\u201cmusical concept \u2192 mathematical model \u2192 musical notation \u2192 listening \u2192 practicalperformance \u2192 independent analysis\u201d is proposed, with its stages, assessment criteria,and indicators defined. The methodology is aimed at ensuring the systematic acquisitionof music-theoretical concepts, the analysis of rhythmic structures, and the integration oftheoretical knowledge with performance practice.",
