Thestudy analyzes the didactic potential of representing note and rest durations, rhythmicrelationships, meter, and time signatures through fractions, ratios, and simple equations.A mathematical model is interpreted not as a substitute for the content of a musicalconcept but as a didactic tool that helps students visualize, calculate, hear, and connecttheoretical concepts with practical performance. The study considers the characteristicsof Grade 7–11 students’ preparation in maqom education, including 62 studentsspecializing in “Traditional Singing” and 61 students specializing in “TraditionalPerformance,” for a total of 123 students. A methodological model based on the sequence“musical concept → mathematical model → musical notation → listening → practicalperformance → independent analysis” is proposed, with its stages, assessment criteria, and indicators defined. The methodology is aimed at ensuring the systematic acquisitionof music-theoretical concepts, the analysis of rhythmic structures, and the integration oftheoretical knowledge with performance practice.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-08-14</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2361"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2361_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
