abstract: It is well known that rituals constitute one of the important ethnographic features distinguishing one people from another. A ritual is a social phenomenon arising from human needs, particularly the requirements of material and spiritual life. Every ritual emerges and continues to exist while embodying the principal features that reflect the level of socio-economic, political, and cultural development of a particular people at a certain stage of their historical development. In other words, a ritual is a socially recognized life event involving commonly accepted symbolic actions.
