His Sufi and moral-didactic teachings are collected in Devoni Hikmat. In this work, the concept of divine love emerges as a central theme both structurally and ideologically. In Devoni Hikmat, love is interpreted as a primary means of attaining closeness to Allah, while true devotion requires the individual to struggle against the desires of the nafs, renounce worldly attachments, and attain spiritual purification. This process is realized gradually through sayr-u suluk, the spiritual journey undertaken under the guidance of a sheikh or murshid. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2577 full_text_status: none publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 9 pagerange: 242-244 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Eshdavlatova, Aziza (2026) THE INTERPRETATION OF DIVINE LOVE AND SUFI THOUGHT IN AHMAD YASSAVI’S “DEVONI HIKMAT”.
