Aesthetic competence is substantiated as a complex competence that is not limited to the perception of beauty, harmony, artistic images, aesthetic views, and values, but also encompasses the ability to understand and evaluate them and to make aesthetically appropriate decisions in everyday and professional activities. The article identifies the motivational, cognitive, perceptual-emotional, activity-creative, and reflective-evaluative components of aesthetic competence. The pedagogical conditions for developing this competence among students are examined, including interdisciplinary integration, problem-based educational (case) situations, the use of art and the cultural environment, the purposeful application of digital educational tools, and creative activities. The conceptual and pedagogical model for developing aesthetic competence and the expected pedagogical outcomes are also defined.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2401"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2401_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
