It explores the possibilities of diagnosing prospective teachers’ professional and pedagogical competence in a digital assessment environment based on Bloom’s Taxonomy and its revised model developed by Anderson and Krathwohl. The levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy—knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, evaluation, and creation—are considered in integration with the cognitive components of professional competence. The didactic and psychometric characteristics of traditional tests and profession-oriented situational (case-based) tests developed on the basis of Bloom’s Taxonomy are comparatively analyzed. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2603 full_text_status: none publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 9 pagerange: 316-320 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Rasulov, Ulug‘bek (2026) INTEGRATION OF BLOOM’S TAXONOMY AND THE COGNITIVE COMPONENTS OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE IN A DIGITAL ASSESSMENT ENVIRONMENT.
