abstract: This article analyzes Gulshahri’s poem Mantiq ut-Tayr, its connection with the literary legacy of Fariduddin Attar, and its place in the development of Turkic literature. It also examines the common features of this work and Alisher Navoi’s Lison ut-Tayr, as well as the question of its literary influence on Navoi’s works.
