N2  - The article examines the recoding of traditional nonverbal and paralinguistic functions in digital semiotic resources using a theoretical-analytical approach. Selected studies published between 1970 and 2026 are comparatively synthesized, and criteria for functional preservation, semiotic transformation, and functional expansion are proposed. The findings demonstrate the limitations of a model based on complete one-to-one correspondence.
