Particular attention is paid to preserving the unity of content and form, rhythm, rhyme, intonation, imagery, and the national-cultural specificity of the original work. The typological differences between Russian and Uzbek are considered one of the key factors necessitating the use of translation transformations. Using A. S. Pushkin’s poem “I Loved You…” and its Uzbek translations by Hamid Alimjan and Matnazar Abdulhakim as material, the study conducts a comparative analysis of lexical-semantic, figurative-stylistic, rhythmic-intonational, and linguocultural transformations. The findings demonstrate that functional and artistic-aesthetic equivalence in poetic translation is more significant than the literal correspondence of linguistic units. It is established that concretization, semantic development, figurative substitution, compensation, and cultural adaptation contribute to preserving the overall artistic impact of the original through the expressive resources of the Uzbek language.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mods:mods>
