Particular attention is given to understanding the meaning of the text, diction, breath phrasing, logical stress, and artistic balance in performance. The study demonstrates that in the Uzbek traditional vocal school, the poetic text is not a secondary element but an important factor determining the character of vocal production, breathing points, internal culmination, and the performer’s restraint on stage. A step-by-step methodology for working with poetic texts in the course “Traditional Singing” is proposed.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2438"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2438_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
