Particular attention is given to understanding the meaning of the text, diction, breath phrasing, logical stress, and artistic balance in performance. The study demonstrates that in the Uzbek traditional vocal school, the poetic text is not a secondary element but an important factor determining the character of vocal production, breathing points, internal culmination, and the performer’s restraint on stage. A step-by-step methodology for working with poetic texts in the course “Traditional Singing” is proposed. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2621 full_text_status: none publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 9 pagerange: 331-334 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Каршибоев, Зохиджон (2026) THE INFLUENCE OF WORKING WITH POETIC TEXTS ON PERFORMANCE CULTURE IN TRADITIONAL SINGING.
