%X This article examines, systematizes, and compares issues related to the introduction of socio-economic forms of collective farming into the life of the population of the Amu Darya Region. It considers the socio-economic life of the region’s population in 1920–1924, the study of which is of scientific and practical importance for understanding the processes of involving the local population in various spheres of economic activity and transforming property relations in the social sphere. The article also analyzes the introduction of forms of economic organization associated with the formation of common (public and state) ownership as a result of the implementation of collectivization policies.
