It demonstrates that the development of this field is determined not so much by changes in individual intervention methods as by the gradual transformation of the child support model itself—from a clinical deficit-based understanding of the disorder toward family-centered, interdisciplinary, and naturalistic approaches. Based on an analysis of international evidence-based models (ABA, TEACCH, NDBI, ESDM) and the national clinical and psychological tradition, the key challenges in developing a national early intervention system in the Republic of Uzbekistan are identified: insufficient study of early identification mechanisms, the lack of a well-developed psychological and pedagogical framework for intervention, issues of continuity with preschool education, a shortage of trained specialists, and the need for cultural adaptation of international approaches. %A Мухрибон Мусаева %R OJS:2623 %J Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere %D 2026 %T HISTORICAL AND SOCIAL TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF EARLY INTERVENTION SYSTEMS FOR CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER IN INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL PRACTICE
