Data from 270 students obtained using the ZTPI, the Self-Organization Diagnostic Method, and the Meaning-in-Life Orientations Test were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The results indicate that future orientation and a positive past orientation are associated with the development of planning, goal setting, and an internal locus of control, whereas fatalistic orientation and a negative past perspective tend to weaken self-regulation. The findings may provide a practical basis for developing time-management training programs in higher education. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2631 full_text_status: none publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 9 pagerange: 351-355 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Solayev, Og‘abek (2026) EMPIRICAL-CORRELATION ANALYSIS OF TIME PERCEPTION AND TIME MANAGEMENT CHARACTERISTICS AMONG UNIVERSITY.
