Systemic, activity-based, sociocultural, dialogic, competency-based, and reflective approaches arecomparatively analyzed, revealing that each addresses a distinct aspect of themethodological framework. As a result, a methodological architecture comprisingontological, epistemological, didactic, and praxeological levels is developed. Thisarchitecture avoids the mechanical enumeration of approaches and demonstrates theinterrelationship between the object of research, the process of knowledge construction, educational content, and practical transformation. date: 2026-08-14 date_type: published id_number: IJCST:256 full_text_status: public publication: Modern scientific and technical research volume: 2 number: 3 pagerange: 485-488 refereed: 1 citation: Ochilova, Nilufar (2026) THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR DEVELOPING PEDAGOGICAL DISCOURSE COMPETENCE.
