An individualeducational trajectory is considered a pedagogical process organized in accordance withstudents’ personal needs, academic capabilities, interests, and professional goals. Thestudy involved 7 tutors working at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University and 198 studentsselected from among those assigned to these tutors. Criterion-based analysis grounded inpedagogical diagnostics was used to examine goal-motivational orientation, individualplanning, independent choice and educational activity, monitoring and self-management,and reflective-professional orientation. The results showed that the tutor’s role as apedagogical diagnostician, consultant, facilitator, and educational mentor enablesstudents to consciously determine their individual learning paths, plan and monitor theiractivities, and reflectively evaluate their outcomes. Based on the findings, the pedagogicalsignificance of a tutoring approach to shaping individual educational trajectories throughdiagnostics, goal setting, planning, independent choice, monitoring, reflection, andcorrection is substantiated. date: 2026-08-14 date_type: published id_number: IJCST:266 full_text_status: public publication: Modern scientific and technical research volume: 2 number: 3 pagerange: 521-527 refereed: 1 citation: Soliyeva, Maftuna (2026) PEDAGOGICAL POTENTIAL OF TUTORING IN SHAPING STUDENTS’ INDIVIDUAL EDUCATIONAL TRAJECTORIES.
