The empirical base includes official data from the National Statistics Committee on the youth population and internet use, DataReportal reports on Uzbekistan for 2024–2026, publicly available Telegram indicators from TGStat, and relevant national and international academic literature. Methodologically, the study employs secondary data analysis, comparative platform analysis, documentary analysis, and literature synthesis. Telegram, YouTube, and TikTok are considered not as a single communicative environment but as platforms characterized by distinct media logics. The analysis indicates that digitalization does not simply shift young people’s political values “from traditional to modern”; rather, it transforms the ways in which these values are expressed, the methods through which political information is obtained, and the channels of civic participation. At the same time, algorithmic filtering, the rapid dissemination of information, and audience segmentation make the formation of political values increasingly complex. The article proposes a conceptual model based on media and political communication scholar P. Dahlgren’s “civic cultures” approach. The model has not been empirically tested and is intended to serve as a hypothetical framework for future research.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-08-14</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2478"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2478_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
