Gender stereotypes are interpreted as a phenomenon reflecting historically established sociocultural perceptions of men and women, with particular attention paid to their manifestation in lexical units, phraseological expressions, proverbs and sayings, and evaluative expressions. Comparative linguocultural analysis is employed as the primary research method. Gender-related units in English and Uzbek are analyzed according to seven semantic criteria: appearance, character and personal qualities, intellectual characteristics, family roles, professional activity, social status, and behavior. The findings indicate that in both linguocultures, the image of men is more frequently associated with determination, social activity, and leadership, whereas the image of women is more closely linked to family, upbringing, appearance, and the normative evaluation of behavior. At the same time, a growing tendency toward gender-neutral nomination is observed in English linguoculture, while stereotypical models associated with family and collective values remain relatively stable in Uzbek linguoculture. The study contributes to identifying both universal and culture-specific features of gender stereotypes.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2483"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2483_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
