      "abstract": "This article analyzes the pedagogical content of tutoring in higher education institutions and its significance for students\u2019 personal and professional development. Tutoring is considered a comprehensive pedagogical system encompassing academic support, individual counseling, involvement in educational and developmental activities, socio-psychological adaptation, career guidance, motivational support, monitoring, and reflective activities. The study was conducted with 21 tutors working at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University and employed a structural-functional analysis based on pedagogical diagnostics. The results showed that organizing tutoring on a purposeful pedagogical basis enhances the effectiveness of individual counseling, students\u2019 socio-psychological adaptation, academic support, and career guidance. Based on the findings, the necessity of shifting tutoring from an organizational and supervisory model toward a model of pedagogical support and individualized development is substantiated.",
