The study examines the role of the main components of transport infrastructure — roads, railways, air transport, and the international logistics center — in the development of tourism destinations. The transformation of Navoi International Airport into an intermodal logistics center in 2008–2010, the modernization of the Navoi–Bukhara railway section, and the expansion of high-speed rail services brought the region’s transport capacity to a new level. Based on statistical data, the study analyzes the dynamics of tourist arrivals, accommodation facilities, and tourism-oriented motor vehicles in the region during 2016–2023. In addition, data for 2024 are used to assess the current state of tourism companies, hotels and other accommodation facilities, as well as transport services. Based on the findings, proposals are developed for integrating the transport and logistics infrastructure of the Navoi Region with tourist routes, establishing multimodal routes according to the “transport + tourism service” principle, and improving transport accessibility to remote tourist areas. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2653 full_text_status: none publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 9 pagerange: 301-306 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Fattoyev, Islom (2026) FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE TOURISM AND TRANSPORT-LOGISTICS SYSTEM IN THE NAVOI REGION.
