It examines the historical development, distinctive visual and structural characteristics, as well as the socio-political and practical functions of such relatively understudied script types as Diwani Jali, Muhaqqaq, Ijaza, Tughra, Maghribi, Rayhani, Taj, and Shekasteh. The study substantiates the scholarly significance of examining these derived script types for Islamic paleography and the identification of ancient manuscripts. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2660 full_text_status: none publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 9 pagerange: 359-361 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Asrorov, Kozimxon (2026) DERIVED TYPES OF ARABIC SCRIPT AND THEIR PALEOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS.
