Independent learning activity was assessed according to five criteria: planning, information searching, task management, self-monitoring, and reflection. The pedagogical experiment involved 37 students in grades 7–8 at General Education School No. 8 in Urgench, Khorezm Region. Interactive tasks, virtual experiment elements, electronic tests, and digital information resources were used in chemistry lessons. The findings indicate that the purposeful and methodologically grounded use of digital educational tools contributes to the development of students’ skills in organizing independent learning, monitoring their own knowledge, and analyzing learning outcomes. The study also demonstrates that the effectiveness of digital tools depends on their integration with clearly defined didactic objectives, a structured system of tasks, and reflective activities. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2662 full_text_status: none publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 9 pagerange: 378-381 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Sherova, Sayohat (2026) DEVELOPING INDEPENDENT LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN CHEMISTRY LESSONS THROUGH DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL TOOLS.
