	bibo:abstract "This article empirically analyzes the role of teachers and the school environment in developing reading qualities among primary school students. The study involved 112 primary school teachers and examined the methods they use to promote reading, students’ levels of reading comprehension, approaches to working with children who show low interest in reading, and cooperation with parents. According to the results, 46.0% of teachers organize a small classroom library, 29.0% use discussions of books that students have read, and 22.0% recommend favorite books. It was found that 56.0% of students demonstrate a very good understanding of the texts they read, while 42.0% show an average level of comprehension. When working with students who have low interest in reading, teachers predominantly recommend easier books (43.0%) and use motivating games and activities (42.0%). In addition, 89.0% of teachers reported discussing the development of reading habits at parent meetings. The findings indicate the need to integrate methodological, individualized, and socially communicative approaches to reading development and to strengthen school-family cooperation."^^xsd:string;
