The study employs frame-semantic analysis, conceptual metaphor theory, and comparative translation studies methods. The findings indicate that the concept of humor has a complex cognitive structure and that the degree to which it is preserved in translation depends on the typological proximity of the languages involved. The analysis reveals that the main components of the concept are preserved to a greater extent in the Russian translation.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2509"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2509_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
