Kinship terms are regarded as important ethnolinguistic units that reflect the historical development, family relationships, social structure, customs, and traditions of a people. The study examines the semantic scope, semantic relationships, and usage characteristics of such lexical units found in the Khorezm dialects as ota, ona, aka, uka, opa, singil, bobo, buvi, amaki, tog‘a, xola, amma, jiyan, kuyov, kelin, qaynata, qaynana, qayinaka, qayinuka, quda, and qudag‘ay. Through the semantic classification of terms denoting blood kinship and kinship by marriage, the study identifies the distinctive features of the Khorezm dialects and demonstrates how these linguistic units reflect the family values and national-cultural worldview of the people. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2698 full_text_status: public publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 10 pagerange: 39-43 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Olloyarova, Umida (2026) LEXICAL-SEMANTIC FEATURES OF TERMS DENOTING CONSANGUINEOUS AND MARITAL KINSHIP IN KHOREZM DIALECTS.
