      "abstract": "This article analyzes the sociolinguistic features of modality and the factors influencing its manifestation in speech. It examines the role of the speaker\u2019s age, gender, social status, communicative situation, and sociocultural environment in the selection of modal expressions. Furthermore, using epistemic and deontic modality as examples, the study demonstrates the relationship between the use of modal expressions and linguistic and extralinguistic factors.",
