Based on fairy tales, bylinas, dastans, and proverbs, the study examines universal and distinctive features of national worldviews. It is demonstrated that the analyzed texts of Russian folklore place greater emphasis on individual ingenuity and the struggle against external evil, whereas Uzbek folklore more prominently reflects collective responsibility, loyalty to one's lineage, and moral resilience. The article concludes by highlighting the role of folklore in shaping the cultural and cognitive characteristics of peoples. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2721 full_text_status: public publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 10 pagerange: 60-63 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Узакова, Гулбахор (2026) MODELS OF THINKING IN FOLKLORE TEXTS: A COMPARATIVE-TYPOLOGICAL ANALYSIS (BASED ON RUSSIAN AND UZBEK FOLKLORE).
