Readingstrategies are classified into cognitive, compensatory, metacognitive, and social categories, and a “strategy – text – task” alignment model is proposed for each proficiencylevel. The practical effectiveness of the model was investigated through experimentalstudies, and the results were compared across levels of learning achievement. The articlepresents a sample lesson plan, pedagogical conditions, and practical recommendations. date: 2026-10-13 date_type: published id_number: IJCST:298 full_text_status: public publication: Modern scientific and technical research volume: 2 number: 4 pagerange: 105-110 refereed: 1 citation: Xaydarov, Farruxjon (2026) METHODS FOR DEVELOPING READING SKILLS AMONG STUDENTS WITH DIFFERENT LEVELS OF LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY THROUGH VARIOUS STRATEGIES (THE CASE OF PHYSICS STUDENTS).
