During university studies, increased academic workload, the need for effective time management, assessments and examinations, social relationships, and uncertainties related to future professional activities may contribute to the emergence of stressful situations. Under such circumstances, an individual's ability to plan their actions, regulate their emotional state, establish priority goals, and make conscious decisions in challenging situations enhances their capacity to adapt to stress. The article examines the structural components of self-regulation competence, including goal setting, planning one's activities, self-monitoring, emotional stability, and responsibility, in relation to the development of stress resilience. Furthermore, the interrelationship between these two psychological phenomena is substantiated from the perspective of students' adaptability in academic and social activities. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2729 full_text_status: none publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 10 pagerange: 47-54 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Iskandarov, Erkin (2026) THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELF-REGULATION COMPETENCE AND STRESS RESILIENCE AMONG STUDENTS.
