The study examines the nominative, etymological, cultural-historical, and conceptual-metaphorical features of the central concept expressed by the terms “trade union / labour union,” “профсоюз,” and “kasaba uyushmasi.” It identifies the influence of socio-economic systems, historical models of labor relations, and national mentality on the formation of the terminology. The analysis demonstrates that the concept of a trade union in English is structured around the model of “struggle and negotiation,” in Russian around the model of “a social organization associated with the state,” and in Uzbek around the model of “protection, solidarity, and collective care.”</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2570"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2570_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
