Literary competence is conceptualized as a four-component structure, with assessment criteria, indicators, and a four-level rating scale proposed for each component. The study also analyzes the role of electronic testing platforms, digital portfolios, online forums, learning management systems (LMS), analytical rubrics, and artificial intelligence-based feedback tools in the assessment process. As a result, an integrative assessment model combining diagnostic, formative, and summative assessment stages is substantiated. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2736 full_text_status: none publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 10 pagerange: 104-107 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Oymatova, Nilufar (2026) A SYSTEM FOR ASSESSING STUDENTS’ LITERARY COMPETENCE IN A DIGITAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT: ELECTRONIC ASSESSMENT TOOLS AND CRITERIA.
