A. Bunin’s short story Light Breathing and Abdulhamid Chulpon’s Oydin kechalarda (On Moonlit Nights). Particular attention is paid to composition, narration, and psychological details that help reveal the characters’ personalities and influence readers’ perceptions of the literary works. Based on a comparative analysis, the study demonstrates that Bunin employs an unconventional plot structure that encourages readers to reconsider the fate of the female protagonist, while Chulpon gradually reveals a family conflict through the characters’ emotional experiences and dialogues. The article concludes that both authors employ different literary techniques to evoke an emotional response from readers and deepen their understanding of the works.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2587"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2587_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
