%X This article examines the linguopragmatic functions of paremiological units used in the literary works of A. Qodiriy. Particular attention is paid to the role of paremias in realizing various speech acts within literary discourse. The study is based on selected examples from A. Qodiriy’s novels, which are analyzed within the framework of speech act theory.
