It explores the interrelationships among the categories of “text,” “digital text,” “multimodal text,” “narrative,” and “narrative approach,” and identifies the distinctive features that differentiate digital texts from traditional texts. Based on the analysis, the authors propose their own definition of digital text creation competence and substantiate its structure, which comprises motivational-value, cognitive, linguonarrative, technological-multimodal, and reflective-evaluative components. The didactic potential and principles of the narrative approach in developing this competence are also presented.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2608"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2608_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
