%X This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of developing linguocultural competence in foreign language education, its relationship with intercultural communication, and the pedagogical conditions necessary for its development. A methodological model is proposed to enhance learners’ communicative preparedness through linguoculturally oriented tasks, authentic materials, comparative analysis, problem-based situations, and reflective activities. The article also substantiates the criteria for assessing the development of this competence.
