Based on five phraseosemantic groups, it demonstrates that the hyperonym is generally represented by a neutral lexeme. When the definition of a phraseological unit introduces an additional semantic feature of manner, intensity, evaluation, or phase, the unit functions as a hyponym; if the difference is purely stylistic, it remains a synonym. Purely phraseological hyponymy constitutes a second, relatively rare level. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2779 full_text_status: none publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 10 pagerange: 164-170 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Тогаева, Феруза (2026) GENUS-SPECIES RELATIONS IN THE PHRASEOLOGY OF THE UZBEK AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES.
