Drawing on Dīwān Lughāt al-Turk, Kutadgu Bilig, Hibat ul-Haqayiq, and Alisher Navoi’s Hayrat ul-Abror, the study analyzes the artistic functions of historical linguistic units. It substantiates the need to compare manuscript copies, identify textual variants, distinguish between the language of the author and that of the scribe, apply transliteration and transcription, and examine historical vocabulary and grammatical forms in relation to their historical period and literary genre. By comparing the works of Mahmud al-Kashgari, R. Dankoff and J. Kelly, M. Erdal, G. Clauson, and J. Eckmann, the article clarifies the scholarly criteria for studying the language of classical texts. As a result, a systematic research framework integrating historical-linguistic description, poetic analysis, and textual criticism is proposed.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2627"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2627_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
