"abstract": "The article presents a conceptual analysis of the transition from external surveillance requirements to personal self-assessment. It distinguishes between the presence of surveillance, the anticipation of being observed, strategic adaptation, and the internalization of norms. Digital conformism is not equated with every form of adjustment. Cases of countersurveillance and automated control reveal the limits of the theory.",
