The article examines the translatability of wordplay in Dan Brown’s cryptograms based on N. V. Rein’s Russian translation of The Da Vinci Code. The cryptograms are classified according to their linguistic basis, and translation strategies are described using D. Delabastita’s model. The findings indicate that letter-based cryptograms often retain their original English form, whereas the key anagram is recreated in Russian.",
