abstract: This article analyzes changes in family and marriage relations and gender issues in Karakalpakstan in the context of globalization and economic transformations. It examines the impact of labor migration and cultural homogenization on family relationships. In addition, the article puts forward proposals for strengthening the institution of the family by increasing household incomes, providing housing, and encouraging parenthood.
