Рассматриваются средства временного дейксиса («сейчас», «вчера», «теперь», «в то время») как важный элемент не только для обозначения временной последовательности событий, но и для усиления драматического эффекта, раскрытия внутреннего мира героя и формирования ритма текста. В качестве материала используются произведения классической английской и узбекской литературы, такие как «Гамлет» Шекспира, «Большие надежды» Диккенса и «Минувшие дни» Кадыри.
