abstract: В данной статье исследуются структурные особенности 23 названий крокодилов в английском языке. Зоонимы анализируются по количеству компонентов, освещая модели от однокомпонентных названий до сложных трехкомпонентных сочетаний. В результате исследования выявлено абсолютное преобладание двухкомпонентных номинаций в системе наименований крокодилов в английском языке.
