На основе классических и современных исследований в области метакогниции, саморегулируемого обучения и коммуникативной методики обучения языкам обосновывается роль метакогнитивных стратегий как ключевого фактора осознанного планирования, контроля и оценки учебной деятельности. Показано, что применение метакогнитивного подхода способствует формированию учебной автономии, развитию рефлексивного мышления и повышению коммуникативной компетентности обучающихся в профессионально ориентированном иноязычном образовании.
