A BROAD COVERAGE OF FOLK CEREMONIES AND TRADITIONS, AS WELL AS ISSUES OF RELIGIOUS BELIEFS IN THE WORK OF ABDURAHMON TASHKANDI

This article analyzes the coverage of folk ceremonies, traditions, and religious beliefs in the works of the Jadid enlightener Abdurahmon Tashkandi (Sayyoh). Based on the materials of the journal “Al-Isloh,” the author examines his socio-political, spiritual, and religious views. Particular attention is given to his attitude toward the banking system, his role in the Jadid movement, his ideas on public enlightenment, and his contribution to the promotion of Islamic values. The study concludes that issues of national awakening, moral development, and the formation of religious consciousness occupy a central place in Sayyoh’s works.
