METHODS OF ROMANTIC INTERPRETATION OF EASTERN MOTIFS IN J.G. BYRON’S WORKS

This article analyzes the romantic interpretation of Eastern motifs in the works of George Gordon Byron based on linguopoetic and linguocognitive approaches. The study reveals the artistic function of the motifs of love, revenge, fate, freedom, and inner rebellion in Byron’s “Eastern Tales.” It also highlights the role of Oriental lexicon and poetic details in intensifying romantic dramatism. The results show that Byron interprets the East not as an exotic space, but as an aesthetic field reflecting the internal conflicts of the romantic hero.
