THE METALANGUAGE OF THE ECONOMICS SPECIALTY AS A LINGUODIDACTIC BASIS FOR DEVELOPING LISTENING AND READING SKILLS OF ECONOMICS STUDENTS STUDYING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

The article examines the metalanguage of the economics specialty as a linguodidactic basis for developing listening and reading skills of economics students studying Russian as a foreign language. It clarifies the content of this concept, its distinction from terminology, as well as its structure and functions in economic discourse. It is substantiated that systematic mastery of the specialty metalanguage contributes to a more accurate understanding of professionally oriented texts and increases the effectiveness of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
