DISINFORMATION IN THE DIGITAL SOCIETY AND ITS IMPACT ON YOUTH CONSCIOUSNESS

This paper examines the mechanisms of disinformation dissemination in the context of a digitalsociety, its role in the information space, and its socio-psychological impact on youth consciousness. Withthe rapid development of the Internet and social media, the fast spread of misleading and false informationis increasing, which negatively affects young people’s worldview, critical thinking, and decision-makingprocesses.
