CORRUPTION PERCEPTIONS INDEX AND ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of the Corruption Perceptions Index and corruption assessment. It examines the advantages and limitations of the methodology used by Transparency International and substantiates the need to adapt corruption measurement tools to national conditions. The study proposes recommendations for developing a transparent, standardized national system for monitoring anti-corruption policy and objectively assessing corruption levels in Uzbekistan.
